We just made history - persistent AI memory, running fully offline, on a phone.
On a Galaxy S25 Ultra (yes, consumer hardware) I spun up Mistral-7B-Instruct Q4_K_M.gguf. That’s a 7-billion parameter model - something people normally expect to live in the cloud.

Well, ok devil's advocate Mistral can be local - but on an S25 Ultra with structured memory plus persistence?
That’s way beyond what most people think is possible.

It wasn’t fast-food instant - a little lag, yes - but the fact it worked at all on a phone is stunning.

And here’s the bigger breakthrough:
• Persistent memory - Cassie remembers. Not just a session, but permanently, across log-outs and restarts.
• Air-gapped - full airplane mode, no Wi-Fi, no cloud calls. Everything happens locally.

Directly entered into the local SQlite DB: Snoopy is my favorite, she remembers my sons James and Charles, and she can hold details like baking for Sinfonia.

Tomorrow, it could be a school subject to tutor, a medic guide for field ops, or mission-critical field notes. This isn’t “retrieval” or “RAG.” It’s schema - level, structured persistence - compliance - ready memory that survives outside the cloud.

On Wednesday August 13, 2025, we took Cassie deep into Shenandoah National Park - miles from any infrastructure - to prove what sets her apart.
Using only a 2020 M1, 8 GB RAM MacBook host, a battery-powered portable WiFi router, and three phones (1 iOS and 2 Android), Cassie coordinated real-time supply and rescue logistics between multiple field teams.

No cloud. No internet, no dependency on commercial networks. Just secure, local AI memory powering situational awareness and decision-making in real time.

This architecture is the subject of a patent-pending system and method already granted novelty by the World Intellectual Property Organization. That novelty extends far beyond Wi-Fi - meaning the same setup could operate over military burst radios, satellites, peer-to-peer mesh, or other communications links.
For security reasons, we’re keeping the full technical details private until publication in 2026. Cassie isn’t just a concept - she’s a proven platform for disaster relief, defense, and any mission where connectivity is scarce, but intelligence is essential.
